This issue solved now, thanks Rom for troubleshoot in right direction. The issue was broken winsock LSP that prevented communication between manager and client. To help others with similar issue: use Netsh winsock show catalog command to see list of installed LSPs. Check if some antiviral soft or malicious soft put hooks there. Use http://www.xp-smoker.com/downloads/xptcprep.exe or similar tool to return TCP/IP stack and winsock to default state. EDIT: info about LSP: https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Layered_Service_Provider http://habrahabr.ru/post/162401/ |

May not be necessary to download anything. Try netsh winsock reset Usage: reset Remarks: Resets Winsock Catalog to a clean state. All Winsock Layered Service Providers which were previously installed must be reinstalled. This command does not affect Winsock Name Space Provider entries. and/or netsh int ip reset Usage: reset [name=]<string> Parameters: Tag Value name - The name of a file to which to append information regarding what settings were reset. Remarks: Resets TCP/IP and related components to a clean state. Examples: reset resetlog.txt Both require a reboot after use. But glad you got it sorted eventually, anyway. |
