I made some test in my MTK6589 phone with Android 4.2

When screen/phone is active, all 4 CPU cores load 100% @1.2GHz. It' OK.

When my phone goes to sleep (after timeout or pressed power button short), the BOINC tasks running in bacground, but the computing performance is lower about 5-6 times!!!

How can I prevent Android OS to switch BOINC service to low performance?

I know we're the BOINC forums and all, but there's really not many of the developers around, especially not those for Android either. So, perhaps it's easiest to report this behaviour on their own Google list. https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/boinc-android-testing.
