When I upgraded to 7.2.31 Win 7 Pro 64-bit, Windows Installer:
* decompresses
* accept the license
* prompts for configuration (defaults accepted including location)
* then starts installing and fails not being able to find BOINC.msi

"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable"

By default it seems to be looking in C:\Windows\Downloaded Installations\{ED71CB83-C4B7-46AE-A410-3ED7E2866358}

See the BOINC FAQ Windows Installer Error 1706: Setup cannot find the required files / 1714: older version cannot be removed / BOINC.msi cannot be found / The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable / Error 1325. is not a valid short name on this very subject.
