i am running WCG (FightAids) for long time. on win7 most task take 8 hours to complete (tasks of 50000 Gflops), on win 8.1 same tasks (42000-50000 Gflops) take me 18-20hours ( i always use hibernate mode) {i use this progr. to check my CPU , qwikmark 0.4 on win7 the result was 14 GFlops on win 8.1 ....says only 10 Gflops every time i check.} is this a B.M problem/ WCG or O.S problem? does enyon else hase this problem or notice this. all the settings are the same on BM(7.0.64)/WCG page. i used hibernate mode on both O.S, we are talking about the same pc and settings but different O.S. I apologize in advance if is a nonsense what im saying (is just my observation) but im not an advanced user.

Have you tried turning off some of the eye candy and other features you perhaps don't need? Search for "speed up win 8".
