Because he claims to be an advocate for free speech, yet has actively censored points of view that differ from his own.

Yes, it's a private company and that is his right- but to claim it is a "DIgital town square" for all to use is complete is complete and utter nonsense when he actively supresses opposing opinions.

Your local media probably refuses to give it to you because they generally have requirements to be honest and factual in their reporting and not just re-post unsubstantiated claims lacking in any actual factual basis.

That you rather be indoctrinated by your local media is your own decision.

And that you chose to be indoctrinated by a rumour network that choses to ignore anything that doesn't support their point of view- regardless of the actual facts- would explain your dissatisfaction with normal media and frustration with the world in general.

Factual. About Gaza? There's nothing factual coming out of there if you constantly ignore anything being done TO Israel, or downplay 7 October. That on a daily basis ignores world news when it says something different from what they believe in? Also, all of our newspapers, and most of our news channels have been taken over by two Belgian media houses, DPG and Mediahuis, who dictate what's allowed or not. So it doesn't really matter which newspaper you pick up, or which channel you turn on, they'll all bring the exact same coloured news.

Yep, plenty of rumours on X.com, I acknowledge that. But it's also still the place where the terrorists themselves place their videos, which you won't see on the news and that the politicians then downplay, or turn it around and blame Israel and the US of doing.

I have nothing against X. I have never used it. So totally neutral.
As for news, I tend to read BBC World News, Al Jazeera, and listen to NPR. Most of the US news sources have been subverted by the new owners.
Oh, and the Seti board is still down.

As to X it is unable to be read. It is as bad if not worse than a paywall. Why do I have to create a posting account to read? And doesn't that tell you the accuracy of what it carries, rumors!

As to news, BBC, DW, AFP, AP, UPI, Reuters, Al Jazeera, NHK, NPR and even TASS and People's Daily. As to the corporate overlords of what used to be News in the USA, the DOJ should pursue them for using the word "news" as it is false advertising.
