With an announcement that there's no likelihood of restarting the project and so have decided to close down the site on a particular date.
Not to have the site broken by someone and that's it.

Not the happiest right now. I feel like Mark “Kittyman” at the moment. My stepmoms dachshund I have been caring for for the last almost year and a half passed in her sleep. I have Sister wrapped in a favorite blanket waiting for my brother to come home with a proper container for her internment in the ground with the other cherished family companions. :(

I know how that is. For many their pets become part of the family, almost like a brother, sister, etc.

Sister is now with the rest of our dearly departed. Hope she went to wherever our cherished go when they depart their mortal body. Me, Dad and my brother paid our respects for her.
Her resting place is underneath a big tree canopy that shades her from the afternoon heat.

Ours were cremated. Their ashes joined my wifes.

I think I've finally decided, I want it to end with the heat death of the universe.

Is that a forest fire around campus, or a heatwave as we've just had here end of May?

Ah, I did post it in the wrong thread. I'll copy it to the right one then. I posted it quickly with my phone, as my main system developed the dreaded "left-click won't work (reliably) anymore" bug. Left-click only works after several clicks, selecting text is impossible, none of the fixes out there worked for me. And that's on top of a half busted motherboard that has USB problems on its own.
