I tried it just now.

ERR_TIMED_OUT

On one system, on another it eventually loaded (after about a minute).
Then it timed out when i tried to get into the forums.
Re-tried on the first system, this time it loaded, but took forever, and it loaded the forums, but took forever.

It is not a well parrot.

It was unreachable with the usual "ERR_TIMED_OUT" about 30 minutes ago... Forums finally loaded but very slow.
Edit 7 minutes later it's unreachable.

Now it's loading, not loading after 30sec to a minute.
If it does actually load, the forums are extremely responsive.
Then they freeze, then they're extremely responsive, etc, etc.

I was just going to post the same thing.

Can someone message Eric K at SETI to see what's going on? Been this way for a week plus now.

Edit- and now it's loaded after a minute (or two), but i gave up waiting for the forums to load.

The Setians living on the BOINC forums have been posting about the availability of the Seti forums since they went missing and came back on the 21st of October. Following their readouts, it's a daily thing now that they go down and come back later, albeit at a very slow pace.

So, any ideas what's going on? Is it time to say goodbye to the server they run on? Or what else is happening?

Hopefully SETI website being unreachable again this morning is a good sign Eric K is working on trying to figure out what might be broken.
