(Not trying to be snarky. Just confused.) Sue Ah, now I get your confusion. This place is running the BOINC server software to run the forums, hence it looks like a project. So it fed you the default message that applies to all the science projects to go look for the key. I believe the key only gets generated when you attach to a project in the BOINC client. As there is no work here there is no reason to attach and therefore no key on your computer. I note that the my account page here doesn't show me my key so I have to assume it hasn't been generated because I've never attached. ID: 54289 · Reply Quote
