The outrage began early this week. Someone who couldn't sleep I guess.... They were kicked out of bed early. Daylight Saving Time started this weekend - everyone's out of step until the end of the month. |

The outrage began early this week. Someone who couldn't sleep I guess.... Looks like it was sometime between 8:30 and 9:00 PDT. That's not especially early, but it was if you go by UTC because we went onto Daylight Saving Time this week. The heck of it is, my phone just finished one of its Betas and can't [edit]report[/edit] it because the project is down. WAAAH! Fortunately, the phone was smart enough to download a couple of new tasks from main this morning. (I had to stop it working on those so it would finish the Betas. Now I'm letting it do one of those while it finishes the other Beta.) signature |

Hmm. Earlier, both Main and Beta had rather ugly "down for maintenance" messages. Now they have the nice, if perfunctory, ones we're accustomed to. Perhaps this means they took the whole shebang down to bring Oscar back up as the Boinc database and now they're back to the normal Tuesday outage. If I'm right, though, it could mean this will be a longer outrage than usual. signature |

The unscheduled outrage came early this week. I don't doubt for a second, though, that there will be the regular scheduled one today and another unscheduled one in a couple of days. signature |

I think that today the admins at Seti do things differently, and they do not have a Tuesday maintenance. It can't be more broke than it already is, so they've decided to give up. :) So, I was just 14 days too early when I said that... They really didn't do an outage yesterday. ;-) |

It can't be more broke than it already is, so they've decided to give up. :) We also fond out with both Matt and Jeff off, Eric doesn't know how to clean the pipes. Expect those pipes to become clogged sooner rather than later.

Well, there wasn't a scheduled outrage last week (or an unscheduled one late in the week either). Will today's be normal or extra-long? Or are Matt and Jeff still out of town? So far, only The Shadow knows... signature |
