Interesting article on what a C0000005 errors are. The example that Calvin puts forth is great. If we're seeing these somewhat regularly in CPDN, it may be a buggy bit of code in the science app. That'd be my guess. It could be the OS, but I doubt it, or you'd see it elsewhere. It's not BOINC, or the BOINC Manager and/or Daemon would fail, not the science app.
