for the past month, i've had a problem with mw@h detaching from boinc projects.. if i add it back on, it recognizes my user and downloads one wu, runs it, then removes itself again
any ideas?

Are you using an account manager such as BAM! or GridRepublic?

Then you'll have to attach all projects using BAM!, otherwise they get detached again on synchronising with BAM!.
