Need to know if there is any possible way to keep a certain project from turning in completed WUs until you want it to, while still turning in/downloading WUs from other projects you may be running. It's important that i get a fast response on this :( |

Suspend the WUs before they complete, and let them complete when you're ready to upload the results. |

I can assure you this is a legitimate request and will not be used by me or my team to cause any problems with any project. It is needed for tactical purposes. Also, it will not be used to force any WUs to be returned after their deadline. |

@Les: won't work. that requires monitoring 24/7 and is not feasible. I'm looking for some setting or app_info.xml tag that could do this. |

For example, let's say i needed to hold onto some completed WUs until a certain time when a competition was going to begin before turning them in (and this method is allowed in the contest rules). I need an efficient way to do this without effecting other projects, that could hold completed tasks for a few days. |

BOINC doesn't have anything for that as it's a science tool first. It'll want to upload any work that's done immediately (as long as it has network availability) and report it before the deadline. |
