I've connected many pc's to bam but my laptop just won't work, even after reinstalling with multiple versions.

I install and connect to bam and it says connection succeeded. The problem is no projects show up in the projects list (I have to default projects, rosetta and einstein)

It also doesn't show up in my bam host list... so I can't try to force add anything.

The laptop works fine if I manually add a project but I want my credits to count on my bam.

If it works when you attach to a project, it's hardly a BOINC problem. Please post about it on the BOINC Account Manager forum.
