They may give an insight on what the exit codes mean for their applications. These aren't BOINC exit codes, so I don't really know. You did check that all permissions on the BOINC Data directory (/var/lib/boinc) are correctly set, that your account is allowed to write to it? ID: 28683 ·

I ran memtest86+ four times without errors uninstalled BOINC completely and left it like that. I re-installed BOINC using Fedoras Add/Remove Software app and when I came to the point where I get to choose projects, World Community Grid was greyed out and on choosing that it says "This project may not have work for your type of computer."? I don't remember ever seeing that message before? Anyway, I chose another project, climateprediction.net and that one downloaded its files and have been running happiliy ever since...
