I have some old Win95 systems. It appears that support for this platform as moved on. I have not found any task that these systems can be used on, and those projects that claim to -- do not have the necessary client to run on the Win95 platform. In preparation to loading new software, I had uninstalled the old Seti@home client. Am I out of luck here. And if so, I might suggest that some note be added to the online docs to indicate when you migrated away from the Win95 platform (as well as others as time progresses). If not, please point me in the direction needed. Thanks. Bruce |

See Windows 95 and NT 4 or earlier: How to run SETI@home at the SETI boards. I'm running 5.8.16 on an NT4 laptop (with SETI 5.27). My win95 machine sadly is out of order. Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. (Kleiner Scherz) ![]() |
