I have Bonic version 6.2.18 running on Ubuntu 9.04. The problem I'm experiencing is setting the preferences. I have tried numerous times to set it up so that it stops during PC activity. It seems to work for a few minutes then it will begin working continuously. After failing to set this up successfully, I decided to set the preferences locally but I have the same outcome. Any suggestions? I don't experience this issue on my Windows machines.

I have exactly same setup as first poster and have same issue. i have set
Activity menu correctly, but no change. I've tried linux and ubuntu forums and the consensus seems to be that its a bug. any idea if this is being worked on? its not that big a deal, just convenient.
