Hi,

Have any other projects been plagued by script kiddies creating numerous spam accounts (that they then create a profile for to advertise whatever pointless nonsense they like to) ?
Is there a co-ordinated response to this from the BOINC teams/projects around the world ?

I've implemented recaptcha on account creation for Genetic Life as a way round these idiots, but has anyone got any better suggestions ?

Add the need for having credit and/or a RAC to be able to make a profile. That's what most projects do.
