I have detected that versions 6.4.X don't exit tasks when exited. I believe previous versions do!
Any scheduled fix or should I return to recommended version 6.2.19.

When BOINC is installed as a service (protected application execution), exiting BOINC Manager will only exit BOINC manager. It will not exit the service. Please see this thread.

An option is in development to exit the service when exiting the BOINC manager, but as far as I know this one has been retracted for the present 6.4 development version. BOINC 6.2 will react exactly the same way, when you exit BOINC Manager while the installation is running in protected application execution mode, BOINC and all science applications running at that moment will continue to run.

Although in 2 steps now I know I to do it! … but is this to be enhanced in future releases, going back to the previous shutdown process?
