The BOINC tutorials and workshop (to be held September 10-12) can be viewed live as a webcast.

Using vlc (tested on windows, mac, linux): vlc mmsh://129.88.100.75:443
Using windows media player: mms://129.88.100.75:443

Between each speaker, we will stop the camera and upload the corresponding avi file to this location:
http://129.88.100.74/BOINC/
(The avi files will be stored there for later viewing.)

Thus, the stream will be cut between each speaker and people will have to poll the stream until it can be reopened.

None of the files currently there are AVIs (Windows Media Player complains they aren't, and asks if I'm really sure I want to open them even with the format not matching the file extension).
They seem to be ASF...

This is right. I hadn't thought about the extension. They can easily
be renamed. It is an ASF file using MPEG4 for video and AC52 for audio
(which is a "standard" ASF file for windows).

I know it is a windows format but I hoped it would help windows users
to read them.
