Is this a known error? Can this be fixed? Apparently, disabling user control while in screensaver mode was a fix for another problem. If a screensaver was taking too much time to respond to key presses (or if it was completely hanged), you would have no way to close it and get back to what you were doing. ID: 15807 ·

The screensaver slows down the processing of the model. Task Manager Processes tab will show you by how much on your computer. Climate models also run more stably without the screensaver.
