I recently went through a total melt down of processing tasks on one of my two main computers. The problem occurred after installing some new business software, and I believe that it was this installation which was at the root of the trouble. I believe that I crossed some sort of tipping point in disk usage. The problem is that I do not know what really happened and why. Is there any way of determining when one has crossed over and beyond the BOINC defaults for disk and/or memory usage? I am running six projects. I want to know if I can determine what if anything limits the number of projects I can run based upon my computers' capabilities. >>RSM http://sciencesprings.wordpress.com http://facebook.com/sciencesprings ![]() ![]() |
