Question... For the past few weeks one project has been monopolizing all the time my client spends on processing WUs. Even though the other (2) projects aren't down. BOINC won't even grab any new WUs from the other projects. I have, and have always had, 3 projects with the Resource Share set to 33.33% for each (or each set to 100). There have been no changes to my preferences or any other settings. Any ideas on why this would be? |

What project? What is the deadline? How long does BOINC think it has to go? What are the Long Term Debts for each attached project (can be found by looking in client_state.xml)? What version of BOINC? There are a bunch of reasons. But it's impossible to tell exactly why from the information you've given. Kathryn :o) |

Most possible reason is that in the past, the other two projects were monopolizing processing time. BOINC is now compensating. Or the opposite: that the deadline is too close so it must hurry to finish that project; BOINC will compensate by running the other two projects more later. |
