I saw that 5.10.13 is now the recommended version for XP-x64 and XP. I downloaded the x64 version and installed it as a service. It failed to start. I am back to 5.10.7.

Here it is a month later and the problem still exists, and there has been no response to this message. So much for trying to help.

See Trac Ticket 145 for possible solutions. If your problem is much different, register at Trac and make a new ticket. Give all the possible information that you can, including hardware and exactly what error you get.
