I just installed BOINC 8.2.4 on two new laptops (both Win11, most recent version) and connected them to my BAM account.
Both ran 1 unit and then stopped getting work.
The second laptop ist still here, so I can post the log file.

I can see why BOINC is not requesting any tasks ("Not using CPU"), but I have no clue how BOINC got to that conclusion.
See the screenshota below, that give the current settings from BAM (sorry, the first is in German):

Or is there some switch I am missing here?

Thank you very much for any advice that you can provide!

Friedrich

OK, - now that I have posted my question - I found the solution. I seems to be a problem with BAM!
I detached the client and re-attached it. Now it is getting tasks.
So this is no wjust for the records.

Thanks!

I am also on version 8.2.4, but on Android, and I am also not getting any new tasks, for at least a few days now. Also, I have 3 tasks for Mapping Cancer Markers ( World Community Grid ) that have been listed as "uploading" for a few days already. I use Science United as my project accounts manager.

Well, a new tasks are now coming in from Einstein@Home, so I guess my issue was just normal network queuing problems.
