Hello! I have some tasks from Rosetta that are ready to upload but still waiting to be uploaded. They were completed before the expiration date but are now past it. Why are the tasks not being uploaded? Is it because there are no more tasks available at the moment? Who can help or at least provide information? Is it possible that Boinc is at fault and the tasks are only uploaded when follow-up tasks are ready? Many thanks in advance. MfG R.Lehmeier Translated with DeepL.com (free version) |

First place to look for clues is the event log. What does that say? Second place would be the project forums where This thread seems to cover the issue in detail. |

**** Actually Problems and Technical Issues with Rosetta@home is what you should be looking at. Scroll to last page. |

Both threads have the same solution. |

Thank you, the tip was spot on. It's running again. I'm just wondering why it's only appearing now - it ran for weeks without the entry. |

You could say it's running on autopilot. Things keep breaking at Rosetta and nobody in project administrator/management seems to be watching over things. |

I have got 5 PC's running and all of my Task are currently set to Progress 100% and Ready to Report, but nothing is Reporting and no new Tasks are downloading to my PC's. What should I do to get them running? Checked the Log and this might be the problem 'Server error: feeder not running' |

If the tasks are from Rosetta there is major problems with their servers, www/IP-V4 & IP-V6 listings and expired security certificates just to name 3 things. A temporary workaround solution that works for SOME PEOPLE had been posted at the Rosetta forums Problems and Technical Issues with Rosetta@home. ** Specific instructions can be found in this post https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/forum_thread.php?id=6893&postid=112334#112334 on how to edit/modify your computer host file. In the time being if that's the only project you're running you can find one or more project to run until they "fix it" or shut down your computer until it's working again. You can find a list of projects in the BOINC PROGRAM when you use the option to "add a project" or you can see an "official" list here. ![]() ![]() |
