Hi all, https://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Computation_credit (rev. 2013-07-21) says: The Cobblestone is 1/200 day of CPU time on a reference computer that does 1,000 MFLOPS based on the Whetstone benchmark. Floating point operations per seconds: RAC/200 in GigaFLOPs with RAC = Recent Average Credit as the average number of Cobblestones per day granted recently. This average decreases by a factor of two every week. I am interested in the precise definition of "recently". Does it mean that the factor 1/2 per week stands for a simple first order low pass filter with a transfer function 1/(1+Ts) having a time constant that resembles a decay of the weighted input value of 50 % of per week?
