Looking for suggestions for project(s) that play nice with i9 machine. And hopefully utilizing GPU.

iMac 27", 2019
Mac OS 14.3 (Sonoma)
3.5 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9
32 GB RAM
Radeon Pro 580X
Boinc 7.24.2

ALSO

Looking for suggestions for project(s) that will play nice with an older machine. And hopefully utilizing GPU.

Mac OS 10.13.6 (High Sierra)
Dual Quad-Core Xeon 2.4 GHz
16GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 5770
