i am wondering can the client run on a bsd based server? because i have a few bsd server and i want to help the project. |

The BOINC client can (see the download other OSes list, FreeBSD), but you'll have to check per project if the application can. |

thz for your reply, but it showed the error message" Message from server: platform 'i386-portbld-freebsd' not found", it the project does not support bsd? |

Depends on which project or projects you tried to use it with. Why don't you tell us? |

Not natively no. But using an anonymous platform it is possible to do so, at least on these projects in your list: This thread on the Einstein forums for their BSD application. WCG forums thread on their applications. SIMAP forums on their application. Hope that helps you along. |
