Thread 'Boinc/Einstein dont work on linux :('

What BOINC prefs did you use while running 5.8.1? Default is: Use at most 50% of memory when computer is in use Use at most 50% of memory when computer is idle Did you alter any of this options? But Einstein doesn't use those preferences yet. Boinc shouldn't use any CPU. It is only a managing program, it doesn't crunch. ID: 7346 ·

That's what happens when you have one eye on the television (darts) and the other one on the computer monitor.... ;-) Boinc shouldn't use any CPU. It is only a managing program, it doesn't crunch. Nope the einstein app does and BOINC shouldn't hit 100%, but if I'm correct it looks like ginie has installed BOINC on a dedicated server. Can that be done...? Isn't he sharing this server(and CPU) with others (running webpages and so on...)? ID: 7353 ·
