Is there any sort of benchmark out there to see if the same holds true for boinc projects? Is Linux // Ubuntu 18.04 that slow, compared to other operating systems, in regards to crunching data? Not too long till the general release comes out when I shall upgrade one machine, see how it goes for a couple of days before probably doing the second. It's mainly in massive parallel loads, The article specifies the AMD architecture, because they obviously have a different system than the trusted Intel Xeon processors. ID: 97015 ·
