I have to apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge, but I am hoping to learn.

I'm running Fedora Server 21 minimal install with Amahi 8 as a home server. I wanted to install BOINC to utilize extra processing when it is sitting idle. It is on 24/7 and acts as my DHCP Server.

I've installed boinc-client and boinc-manager through yum, however the system has no graphical interface so I am not sure what the next steps are in order to get things running. I usually SSH into it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Two options, i'm guessing you have a system with a gui on the network you could use to manage it.

If so this is the easiest approach Controlling_BOINC_remotely

Second option, you can set it up using command line - man boinccmd and boincmd wiki- but it is a somewhat harder.

There is also boinctui, a text mode manager. Haven't used it myself though.

Debian/Ubuntu has it packaged, don't know about Fedora.
