I had a boinc account for years. Is there some way to find it? The name and password I have are not working. Might someone just have eliminated my old account? Sorry to post here, but this is the only place I could find to email.

TIA

What projects were you active at? Accounts are handled at each project, there is no universal "BOINC" account, although there are account managers that can handle adding new projects for you. If you were trying to log in to this site with your old details, it's probably because you never had need for this forum before. This is just a support forum, an account here has nothing to do with any of the projects or your BOINC Manager.

If you had multiple projects where you were registered and contributed, you can find out at BOINCStats where by searching for your old account name. E.g. Byars produces this list: http://boincstats.com/en/stats/search/#byars

You know what it was, drill in and discover.
